Ever wonder why you bother?

Ever wonder who died and made you Boss of trying mend all relationships?

Ever wonder why you even care???

There are days like today that severely test the very fibre of my commitment to Christ!!!  I feel like swearing, cursing, turning my back on people – and for what?  I don’t know that they even know what they did!!!

Days like today are the most challenging as a Christian…  These are those kinds of days when you’re asked to overlook your pride and to be humble as Christ was humble…

Matthew 16:25  “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it”

Colossians 3:12 “Therefore as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe youselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.  Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14. And over all these virtues put on love,which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

Colossians 3: 8 “But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander and filthy language from your lips.”

I guess I had better go sleep on those scriptures…
