TV Sucks….

Well, after a much-needed ‘day-off’ yesterday for our anniversary, I went back to work today!!!  Information Overload – too much on my plate, I determined to come home ‘early’, cook dinner for Midas, finish up some long- overdue laundry and AVOID the computer and relax in front of the TV…

 Hours later, what can I tell you – TV Sucks!!!!  There is absolutely NOTHING of interest to watch.  Midas and I like the same shows and watch together – we’re addicted to The Shield (season over), Battlestar Galactia (Season over – I know it sounds ridiculous, but I encourage you to go back to the beginning of the new show and YOU WILL BE HOOKED!!!), Criminal Minds (Season Over), Shark, (Season Over), and we enjoy watching America’s Most Wanted on a Saturday night if there’s no movie on we want to watch…( Season over, apparently, too!!!)

Right now, with all of our favorite shows off-season – THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WATCH!!!  I HATE Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives (FLUFF), I HATE Reality TV – (absolute Crap) and so, besides the news – which fracking depressed the heck out of me tonight, there is nothing entertaining on television!!!   What a bummer!!!

 MB and Natty have bought into Lost!!!  Midas and I watched the 1st season with the same anticipation – but Lost somehow…  got lost!!!!  Kind of like “Invasion” that TV show of 2006, about Homestead,FL after a hurricane which was a cover for an apparent alien invasion!!!  We were HOOKED on that too – but they cancelled it after the first season, and I swear it’s due to  their eventual realization that they had no clue where they were going with it…

I was the former SNL FAN big-time – and SNL (Saturday Night Live )- is a long-playing show that’s either great or horrendous, depending on their writers of the moment!!!  I have actually emailed them more than once out of desperation for a show falling apart (they never responded – go figure!!!)  Its still not my number one choice – or even #2 or #3!

But frankly – there’s NOTHING to watch on TV!!!! If you have a favorite show you’d like to recommend, please do… we’re seriously looking for alternatives here!!!
